Navigating Ready Contacts© |

Keep it SIMPLE!
That’s what you asked for and that’s what we did. Here is a
quick description of the Ready Contacts© screen. 1.
Header
Section (Dark Blue)
- Find your contact. Search by Company or Contact (Last Name, First
Name, Company). Users can also change their password, access the
Report Selector or create a new Campaign. 2.
Queue
tab –
The application opens to this tab. It is where all your “Action
Items” are displayed. Use the filters to limit or expand what you
see. When you “Select” an action you make it available for
operations like sending Email, setting Appointments, changing
Follow-up date or removing Follow-up. After processing a step in
your campaign change the Follow-up date to prepare for the next
step. 3.
Company Contacts tab
-
This is where Companies and
associated Contacts are maintained. Edit buttons are there to
protect users from accidentally changing information. Company
information is automatically transferred when new Contacts are
added, but it can be easily changed. All information is editable,
including the Company that a Contact is assigned to. If your contact
moves to a new company, simply change the company. 4.
Action
tab –
This
tab is for maintaining all actions related to the current Contact.
Click “Edit Action” to change dates, follow-up status, Contact
Method, Campaign or notes. New Actions can also be added. These
Actions will be displayed on the Queue tab when appropriate. 5.
We will cover the Email, Appointments, Data and Documents tabs later.

Newsletters |
|
|
It’s easy to
publish a newsletter using Ready Contacts©. 1.
Simply create a new Campaign and add as many of your contacts as you
please (Add them all). Call the campaign “Newsletter”. 2.
Create a formatted document and stick with it. Include relevant
information only. Try to keep the information simple and limit the
subjects to 3 or 4 points. 3.
On the “Queue” tab filter by the Campaign “Newsletter” and
select all contacts. 4.
On the “Email” tab choose or create a simple email with the word
“Newsletter” in the Email Body and click the “Send Email”
button. Your email will be created with the recipients in the BCC
section. Copy and paste your document into the body and send.
That’s it! 5.
In order to prepare for the next issue go to the “Queue” tab and
change the Follow-Up date to your next planned issue date. 6.
This process can be used to send out product releases, coupons or
informational communications of any type. It’s easy to add new
contacts to the campaign or remove those who request it. |

Replication |
|
|
There
are many people who need to take Contacts out of the office. Makes
sense, right? For this reason Ready Contacts© is now available with Data Replication. Work remotely as long as you like. Ready
Contacts©
recognizes when you are back in the office and automatically
