Using the Queue |
|
|
1.
Filters
– The
list of actions can be filtered by several criteria points. Any
combination of these criteria can be selected. Choosing nothing in
any of the filter fields will result in displaying all records for
those criteria. a.
Choose
date <=:
Display actions for dates equal to or older than the date selected. b.
Campaign:
Display actions assigned to a specific campaign. This is handy for
doing Newsletters, Coupons or Product Announcements. c.
Category:
This helps target a specific industry, depending on how you use the
field. d.
Contact
Method:
This is another way to narrow the list down. Users may do email
responses in the morning and calls in the afternoon. Using the
Contact Method allows them to filter and focus. e.
Assigned
to: By
default users will only see actions that are assigned to them. This
field can change the view to display another user or view all users
by clearing the field. 2.
Select
– Click each box that you want to include in your process. The
contacts selected will be included in any emails sent, Outlook
appointments or tasks scheduled or changes to Follow-Up dates. 3.
Edit
–
Clicking on this box will bring users to the Action tab. The action
can be edited from there. This also makes that Company and Contact
current on the “Company/Contact” tab. 4.
Reload
List –
Reload the Queue at any time. Ready Contacts uses temporary tables
to allow for the multi-user environment. Clicking the Reload button
simply reloads the list. This feature is helpful when making changes
to some of the records. If a user moves the Follow-Up date on some
contacts into the future, reloading the list will account for that
and make the changes current. 5.
Select
All/None –
Click these buttons to mark all displayed records “Selected” or
“Unselected”. This can be helpful when using the filters. As an
example if you want to send out a Newsletter that is scheduled for
4/14/2008, choose “Newsletter” for the Campaign, 4/14/2008 for
the “Choose Date” and then “Select All”. You are now ready
to send your Newsletter out to the contacts on the list. 6.
Remove
Follow-Up –
Click this button to remove the “Follow-Up” flag. After the list
is reloaded the selected actions will not show. 7.
New
Follow-Up –
You can change the “Follow-Up” date for whatever group of
contacts you select. This feature is nice when running campaigns
that require multiple blasts. After sending your March Newsletter
you can simply change the date for all contacts to your planned
April release date. |
